As my friend wrote “Bailed from work…. couldn’t recommend it more highly”. There is something very decandant (and fun) about taking time away from work to go play creatively and doing it with your best buddy is even better. Last week Keryn from River Bend Flora posted an invite to local artist to come visit her garden and use it as a muse to inspire and it did so in many ways. First, naturally, there was the garden space. A wonderful mix of a family garden space (her grandma lived and gardened there before Keryn) with traditions and memories. It is also Keryn’s creative space for her floral work. This offered us so much to capture with the camera. I do think that perhaps the most inspiring part of the visit was Keryn herself. Keryn is a power house of creativity whose muse is her garden. I loved hearing her talk about her garden with such love and passion. Seeing her delight in sharing it and knowing how hard she has worked over the past five years to create this unique and beautfiul space was perhaps more inspiring. I love it when I hear someone talk about their garden and what it means to them. So much of what Keryn said resonated with me and is how I feel about my garden space. I think we both share the simple pleasure and delight in what our gardens give us, weeds in all. So it is a short written post as I will let Keryn’s garden do the talking.

How divine, I love going to visit other peoples beautiful gardens. I spent a lovely couple of hours yesterday visiting 2 beautiful open gardens - so inspiring, I might have stopped at the garden centre on the way home 😉.
How wonderful of Keryn to open up her garden to creatives. I can just imagine your joy in discovering these delights and capturing them with such beautiful images ♥️
