I use a Nikon D5300 and mainly use my macro 105 mm lens. As for courses it depends on what you are wishing to learn. The course that started me on my journey unfortunately no longer runs. I did do a good course through ‘a year with my camera’ which was good as was an online with Clive Nicholson
