Giveaway #1

One year ago this week I sent out my first newsletter. It was a tentative start as I wasn’t sure what I was going to share in this space. I did know that the noise that was created in other social media spaces was becoming too loud for me and I was sure others felt the same. While I love the connections I have made through social media it was beginning to become confusing and most of all tiring. When I think of how I want to share my garden I felt that social media was demonstrating traits that were the complete opposite to what I believed in. So I sent out a message, suggesting if you want to hear from me in a more personal way then sign up and that I had created a quiet space for us to hang out. While it was new and unformed it would be an easy space to connect with each other, I would simply arrive in your mail box.

A year on and I am more confident in the beauty of the quiet, in taking your time to explore an idea, in being slow. I have plans for this space for the coming year but lets not rush, let’s enjoy and celebrate this moment. As a thank you I want to offer one print of the above dahlia image as a giveaway. It will be an A3 size and the giveaway is open to all who have signed up to my newsletter. I will cover the cost of postage and it is open to all who read this newsletter.
