When we first moved to New Zealand we were lucky enough to be based in Dunedin. My favourite thing to do with my young family, apart from visiting the Botanics ,was to take a walk around our local area admiring the wonderfully colourful and varied gardens. I was always struck by the friendliness of the owners of said gardens who would stop what they were doing to say hello.Your account &gorgeous photos bring back fond memories of that time.Thank you.
Beautiful photo, Mel. I really love reading your newsletters, it's helpful reading a gardening journey in the same season (and with similar values) to my own. I also appreciate your writing style - I swear I can _feel_ my heart rate dropping as I read!
I'm not even sure how I signed up to your emails. Maybe it was in a dream... but I love reading your quiet moments. Thank you for sharing them with us!
Thank you Mel, for being a bright spot in my week! You are one of the few newsletters I actually open. The seeds for my love of gardening and nature were planted by my Mum. She also grew the most amazing dahlias; they always remind me of her. Have a great week Xx
When I first followed your IG, many moons ago, I misread the name as Pollinator Garden. When I realised it was Pollination, I loved it extra. I guess I’m a fan of verbs? Your creative style strikes me as both gloomy and warm, and I appreciate so much that you share it.
I love receiving your emails, especially during these early days of motherhood, as I am only able to admire my wild and full, yet to be cut back garden, your words are an inspiration and it gives me a feeling of ease and beauty and everything is playing it’s part just as it is. 🌻💛
I love the weekly newsletter. I’ll clear all of my emails and leave just that to sit in there and wait until I have some quiet time. I often use it to transport myself into the garden space. Especially as winter has been so dismal, it feels like an escape or just another space to connect to with someone that is just as interested in the garden than me.
I’m a newbie subscriber - thoroughly enjoying your writing in this quieter space. Thank you for sharing and inspiring x
Congrats Kerin you are the winner of the giveaway. I will send you an email shortly regarding delivery of your photo
Oh Mel how wonderful! I’m so excited - your beautiful photography will have a special place on my wall. Thanks very, very much x
